Eating too Much

I think i ate too much this morning... damn the greedy side of me is coming out again. I'm not really sure if it is that time of the month again or what....you know like the craving, buldging tummy AND weighing scale frenzy...

Decided not to weigh in so often anymore.. as long as I feel that my body is losing the inches.. that's what I'm happy with.

Not sure if losing weight for me is becoming an obessive behaviour... ( i seriously doubt it looking at my cravings)... but i really want to lose the 10kg.... I tend to have a mindset of what i can eat what i cannot eat and control my diet a lot more.

Was watching Tyra Shown on TV yesterday (or was it the day before) and they were talking about weight lost and all... one of the trainers did mention that in order to start a healthier lifestyle (and diet of course) you must have the right mindset to see yourself through it. This was something that struck me... i used to do MANY MANY diets (the kind that you wake up feel fat and decide on the spot I'm going on a diet) and it usually didn't last for more than a week or so.... then everything back to square one =P. However this year, decided to take a different approach to it... I set up this blog to keep me motivated though at times I feel shuck so hard so hard... but at the end of the day.. this is the longest period I have had been on a diet wthout failing. I've also started excercising and feeling a lot better. The people around me are seeing me slim down and complimenting me on it... this is all good motivation and support for me and I'm appreciative of it =)

Anyway back to cravings
Had Breakfast at home.. had 3 sausages (the size of the index finger).. then headed to school and just has a 2nd breakfast Kaya Toast + Teh O... i know this is ALOT of food.. and am feelign slightly guilty.... though I'm heading to the gym later... no excuses =P.

Stressed out to the MAX

I am super stressed... so many things to do, so little time... ARGH!

The weekend was totally enjoyable though i had heaps of work at the back of my mind. Spend lots of time with my darling... such a sweetie at times...

He sent me to work once again this morning... We had breakkie before heading to work... I had Chee Kuey.. uh no.. bad oily stuff... but i really felt like having some.

Reached school had a meeting... started on some work then didn't feel like goin to the gym...
Had a throbbing headache.... despite everything I persude on to have a work out. Went to do weights, the rowing for 10 mins followed by the cross trainer for 15 mins. I'm glad that i did it... shows that its a matter of mind over matter.... =)

Had fish soup again for lunch.... tasty... wonder how many more days i can eat the same thing... hmmm....

Uh oh....

Uh oh... haven't been blogging in days....
Well I'm starting to think that the blogging of every day is abit draining due to time constraint.

Well though 3 days of no blogging... I've been really really good. No bad food for me so far... its been good. I think 3 days in a row at lunch, I had fish beehoon soup... the only bad thing is the milk in it... its so tasty and the fish is fresh... reallly yummy...

My baby has been back and he says I'm definately slimer... YIPPEE!! motivation =)

This week, I went to the gym on weds. Did the weights thinggy that the instructor taught me and had a 10km bike ride... followed by the usual weights and a few crunches

Today... I went a little further... started out with weights for the arm (I'm feeling the cramps as I'm typing this),followed by rowing for 5 mins followed by 10 mins on the cross ski machine... (wanted to go for 20 mins but after 10 i was dying, maybe next time round... I'll work towards it) then 10 mins on the bike. then stretching and crunches. D challenged me to do the leg suspension thinggy (45 degree lift of the leg) for 10 secs... then i said ok and he counted really slow... but i think its good for the abs or something.... hehe oh wel... we'll see tomorrow.... hoping to blade tomorrow... with my baby of course.. this time.... with elbow guards... just top play safe =P

Open House 2007

Today is the last day of Republic Poly Open House. Looks kind of like a carnival to me. As much as the topic of education is a boring theme to promote, the schools and centres have definately taken it to a higher level. With wall climbing challenges, crime scene investigations, and photo animations... wow this is definately a new way of enticing students in the promotion of the different diplomas.

Its been 2 days since i last exercise. Wanted to do so today, but i thought i should let my body rest a little esp after that fall on Sat. My left hip feels a little sore, at first i thought it was muscles just feeling sore but after so many days i think its slightly injured. I've booked a friend to head to the gym with me tomorrow so... back to the workout tomorrow!

Didn't feel like coming into work today, but I know i have work to get done before MY SWEETIE comes back tomorrow... OOOooo I can't wait.

Dinner: Went to sushi tei with the girls and it was amazing how i didn't even have rice. Had some soup, agedashi tofu, sashimi... and a few other here and there but no rice!

Battered and Bruised.

Here I am sitting at my desk...... typing away with my right arm slightly immobile and a patch on my neck cos it feels slightly sprained.

Here's what happen, though it only stopped raining at 230pm yesterday, with the grounds still wet, I went ahead to blade with Ming, Jas, Ayl and his friend Phyllis. Because it was pair pair and me. I brought my iPod along... to be my companion. The road at EAST COAST was rather wet causing the wheels and ball bearing to be rather slippery. The roads were also filled with twigs and round things that look like mini durian... about 1 hour into my blading, i hit something, lost my balance and fell. It was quite hard and i grazed both my elbows.. so much for not wearing elbow pads...

When i got back up on my feet, looked at my elbow, there was this bloddy patch, and boy did it hurt heaps.. waited for Ming and Jas to catch up before i told them what happen. In the end we went back to the car to get the wound wash up and plastered. After which i decided to take off my blades, change to my flip flops then walk to Macs for a break. Had a green tea then went back to the car to change dressing.

Sat in the car with Ming and Jas, thinking where we should go for dinner. In the end we decided to have an exploration dinner outing. We drove to Tg Katong area then surprising we got a lot easily then we walked down the street and decided to eat at one of the Zi Char places. Ordered 3 Cup Chicken, Tou Miao and Butter Calamari... after which we went to Hong Kong Cafe to have tea.. before heading home.

Spent today at home mostly, doing my work. Cracking my brains out to craft a problem. It really isn't that easy......

Breakfast: Had cereal
Lunch: Chicken Rice
Dinner: Veggie and Egg and Chicken an Prawns... Yummy!!!

And Now a big cuppa green tea.

Moody Weather Moody Me

It has been raining non stop since yesterday.... and maybe cause i didn't have much to eat last night and I had a corn pau this morning, I'm feeling really really cold. The aircon in the office is freezing and I'm wearing a mini skirt.... Argh totally cold.

Was on MSN with Rach and Ric just now.... then Rach reminded me that there is no HEATER in the showers and with this rainy weather... I think I'm going to freeze in the shower... but nevertheless my motivation to go the gym shall not falter due to the rain. I must go... going to the gym.

Went to the gym, as usual, a few stretches then followed by the threadmill. I must say that I have really accomplished more than usual today. On the threadmill, i managed to burn a total of 201 calories and accomplished a total distance of 2.7km. Although 2.7km may be chicken fit to a lot of you out there, but its been almost 10 years since i did a 2.4km walk run. Even in my early secondary school days 2.4km was always a struggle for me. I could do everything else but 2.4km... didn't really know why... anyway back the the motivating news.. i pushed myself and i covered greater distance in the same time. I still remember my first few trips to the gym with SH. I told her WOW 100 calories I'm satisfied.

After the walk/jog, by the walk i jogged alot more today. I went up to the fitness instructor on duty (Han Wei I found out his name today) and asked if i were want to tone up my arms how do i do it... he told me to use weights to do bicep curls as well as overhead lifts or something llike that. he also showed me. Yippeee... then the usual question came out "Erm... how to lose weight fast?" then he said oh do weights then. I found out that apparently, by warming up my muscles then running you will burn more. So i think from now on. I will spend my first 20 mins doing weights then go for my walk/jog. Another thing i did was a few crunches. It was hard... but I'm sure one day I'll be able to hit 100 without breaking a sweat.

On my way to lunch, my tummy was rumbling like mad. My brain was telling me that I was really really hungry... but i told myself, nope just veggie and tofu... went to the stall and they didnt have much, so i had tao gay (bean sprouts), cabbage, tofu and pepper chicken. Yummy lunch.... wanted to get a water melon juice after but decided not to cos its too FREAKING cold in the office today. So I made myself one of those hot cuppa chrysantum tea. Yum! and its back to work.
